To Friendsgiving or Not?

Updated: Nov 13, 2019

Halloween is over which means Thanksgiving is almost here!

During the holidays, people usually get so caught up with spending time with our families that time with our friends gets put on the back burner. Not any more! Friendsgiving, is the best way to spend time with your closest friends, and show them just how thankful you are to have them! I still remember traveling to Minnesota in 2016 and having friendsgiving with one of our closest couple friends. We cooked together, prayed together, ate together, and shopped together. I had the best time, and will cherish those memories for years to come!

Here are 6 steps to the most perfect Friendsgiving EVER!

  1. Invite your closest friends! Invite people you are truly thankful to have in your life.

  2. Create a menu and divvy out the responsibilities. Potluck anyone?

  3. Make a signature drink or drinks. <-- No judgement here :)

  4. Have games planned, but keep the TV tuned to football for the guys!

  5. Buy cute festive decorations. The cuter the space, the better the pics!

  6. Have a space for everyone to eat together. Eating in front of the TV is fun, but not for this occasion.

Friendsgving is just another reason to celebrate and party!

Get together and toast to all your accomplishments while giving thanks with and for those very special people who have watched you grow all year.

Eat, Drink, & Give Thanks!

Have you ever hosted or been apart of a Friendsgiving Celebration?

I'd love to hear about it!
