Take a chance: Stop letting FEAR win!

This past weekend was full of self-reflection for me. I attended the Blogger Xchange Xpo hosted by two bloggers currently killing it in the blogging game. It was a weekend filled with networking, growing, and learning. The anxiety I felt as I got ready for each day was overwhelming. I am a natural introvert, and the thought of socializing with people I did not know in a large crowd was enough to make me feel sick to my stomach. However, I would be so filled with regret if I hadn't attended. I'm so happy fear didn't win this time.

Life is about experiences, and I refuse to let fear hold me back.

I can think of so many instances where fear stopped me from being the best version of myself.

But I am done with that, and you should be too.

Here are 5 reasons you should step out of your comfort zone and take a chance:

1. Time won't wait for you:

Putting off tasks and goals until tomorrow is a thing of the past. If there is task you want to accomplish, a place you want to go, or something you want to do... DO IT TODAY. Time does not and will not stand still for you. Tomorrow isn't promised. Don't wait until you're comfortable because chances are you will never be fully comfortable.

2. You shouldn't let fear win:

Fear has a way of making you feel inadequate. If you're anything like me, failure is at the top of you list of fears. Many times I talk myself out of pursuing the things I desire because I may not be good at it. But I have to remind myself constantly that "We miss every shot we don't take". You cannot let fear win.

3. You can't win if you don't play the game:

Listen...Showing up is half the battle. But it's often the hardest. Making the decision to actually begin working on the book you wanted to write, starting your weight loss journey, or starting the first step of whatever your goal is will be hard. But it will also be rewarding. Just like if you don't show up you cant win; if you never start, you'll never reach your goal.

4. There are people rooting for you:

I am in disbelief by the amount of support I receive not only from the people who love me but from absolute strangers. People want to see you win! I have so many people rooting for me and so do you! Even if they're quiet supporters, they exist.

5. You owe it to yourself:

You will never forgive yourself if you let fear stop you from achieving your goals. The possibilities of success are endless. You owe it to yourself to go after everything that is yours.

Don't miss your opportunity to be great.

Start telling Fear...NO!

I told fear NO.

What has fear stopped you from doing in the past?

How will you make sure fear never wins again?

With love and light always,
